About Amy:
I’m Amy, a Yoga Teacher and Life Coach on a mission to make the world a calmer place.
My yoga journey began almost by accident, tagging along to a yoga class that a friend was too nervous to go to alone. It changed my life. It felt like breathing for the first time. I was hooked and I’ve never looked back.
After spending almost every day in the studio for a few years, Yoga took me to Rishikesh, India, where I completed my 200hr Vinyasa and Ashtanga teacher training. I was fully immersed in the yogic way of life discovering not only the benefits of movement, but also the profound impact of breathwork, meditation and philosophy.
My classes provide an opportunity to breathe, to switch off your mind, and to move as much or as little as you want. I keep my flows simple with a strong connection to the breath and plenty of options to make your practice feel good for you. I’m a less is more kind of teacher who just wants to you to float out of the studio having had some time to let everything beyond your mat pause for a while.
