Calling all 14 – 24 year olds! Join us for this special 'Magpie Minds' workshop inspired by our current exhibition, 'To Improvise A Mountain: Lynette Yiadom-Boakye Curates'.
Author, performance and playwright Seki Lynch has developed a workshop exploring aspects of writing, creativity and curation. Seki will lead this workshop where participants will interact with the exhibition to investigate how we find patterns in colour, texture, tone, space, atmosphere, and experience. Using these lenses, we'll tap our creative wells to develop new ways of seeing and creating work.
The workshop begins promptly at 5pm and runs until 7.45pm at Leeds Art Gallery. Spaces are limited, please book in advance via email to youth.curator@leeds.gov.uk
This workshop is a Give What You Can Event.
Light refreshments will be provided. You can also bring your own food.
