Join a free family friendly fun day of music making resulting in a first gig at Leeds’ newly refurbished music library

Come along to listen, learn and join in with a mix of live music performances and taster workshops throughout the day led by LS18 Rocks!

Workshops for children aged 7-11 years in the morning and workshops for 11-17 years after lunch. Please note any children or young people aged under 16 should be accompanied by a carer.

10am Introductions

10.10 - 10.30am Performance by Solar Jets (LS18 Rocks band, aged 9-11yrs)

10.30 - 11.15am Band taster workshop
Open to all levels. Who will you be? Drummer, Guitarist, Bass player, singer, keyboard or percussionist?
Ages 7-11 limited to 12 spaces.

11.15 – 11.30am Break

11.30 – 12 noon Guitar and Bass taster workshop with Jonnie Khan from LS18 Rocks Open to all levels
Ages 7-11 limited to 15 spaces.

12 noon – 12.30pm Family Friendly Singing taster workshop with Daisy Wardle and Jonnie Khan from LS18 Rocks!
Open to all levels
Ages 7-11 limited to 30 spaces.

12.30 – 1pm Lunch Break

1pm – 1.30pm Performance by Oracle (LS18 Rocks Band, aged 13-16yrs)

1.30 – 2.15pm Band taster workshop
Open to all levels. Who will you be? Drummer ,Guitarist, Bass player ,singer, keyboard or percussion?
Ages 11-17 limited to 12 spaces.

2.15 - 2.30pm Break

2.30 - 3pm Guitar and Bass taster workshop with Jonnie Khan from LS18 Rocks Open to all levels
Ages 11-17 limited to 15 spaces.

2.30 - 3.15pm Family Friendly Singing taster workshop with Daisy Wardle and Jonnie Khan from LS18 Rocks
Open to all levels ( In Studio 12)
Ages 11-17 limited to 20 spaces.

3.15 - 3.45pm Performance by Kingpin or Flame Spirals
(LS18 Rocks Band, aged 14-17 yrs)
