A fun and informative audio tour and quiz challenge, exploring the rich history of Leeds’ waterfront.

Also known as the Leeds ‘Riviera’, the waterfront that runs running through Leeds City Centre is rich in heritage and culture. From scientific discovery and industrial inventions to haunted pubs and even witchcraft, the tour visits interesting locations and the past and present is brought to life with stories told by narrator and local expert, Mike.

The tour includes a quiz challenge throughout, with multiple choice questions needing you to explore stops more closely to find the answers. This is a family-friendly tour with an accessible route option included, meaning there is something for everyone.

The tour begins near the Cross Keys pub and finishes near Leeds Minster. Without stopping, the tour takes around 2 hours to complete.

To participate on this tour, a smart phone or tablet is required. Once a ticket has been bought or a code redeemed in the app, you can re-visit this map anytime until the pass expires. For full functionality, once installed please allow the app to use GPS on the smart device.
