Larry Budd (Host)

Larry Budd is an award-winning former radio & TV journalist, and one half of an award-winning comedy duo. His viral sketches, spoof ads, Real Daily Briefing and Broken News series have clocked over 50 million views. Larry has written for BBC One’s Have I Got News For You, and written and appeared on BBC Radio 4’s P.O.V., Unsafe Space and The Naked Week, as well writing for Theatre Slung Low Shorts.

Stevie Ward, former Leeds Rhino star and now a prominent Mental Health Advocate welcomes you for a candid and honest discussion about his personal journey and lived experiences with mental wellbeing. Known for his unwavering courage on the pitch, Stevie now brings that same spirit to championing mental health awareness.

Stevie will be joined by fellow Rugby League Professional Kruise Leeming, Wigan Warriors and previous Leeds Rhinos teammate. Together they will take some time out to spark meaningful dialogue, break down stigmas, and empower everyone to prioritise their mental health.

Whether you're a sports enthusiast, someone navigating your own mental health journey, or simply keen to hear authentic stories from those who have faced immense pressure and found strength, this event promises to be enlightening and inspiring.
