Film is making a comeback everyone! Let’s step into the exciting world of sustainable photography and explore eco-conscious practices that are reshaping the film revival movement. This is a hands-on course that will guide you through every step of creating stunning images with minimal environmental impact. Learn the chemistry behind eco-friendly ingredients and brewing your own caffenol (a sustainable alternative to traditional film developers). Whether you're a beginner, enthusiast or a seasoned photographer, this course offers a fresh perspective on photography that aligns creativity with sustainability. This class will be taught by Georgie Holt as part of The Middle Floor's THRIVE Programme. Georgie is a Leeds-living artist working in mixed media, creating zines with illustrations, photography and poems.
