Gallery exploration and sensory play for babies and their grown-ups.

A new workshop to introduce our tiniest visitors (and their grown-ups) to sculpture! Join us for a relaxed tour of the galleries to explore our exhibition Fragment and Form, then head upstairs to our Studio for a sensory play session.

Babies can explore objects and textures related to the exhibition, while the grown-ups can take part in some gentle making, with a cup of tea and chance to chat.

We hope that these free sessions provide a chance for parents and grandparents to socialise and explore our exhibitions, while also providing sensory experiences for babies in our new learning space, the Studio.

This session is a pilot to develop our early years offer. We hope to make this a regular session running every eight weeks.
