FLIP TOP HEAD
Bewitchingly melancholic, Flip Top Head present a chimera of scintillating, poetic grit and haunting vocals into post-rock soundscapes. The six piece are laying down a marker on the alternative scene for effortlessly fusing emphatic, cult-like live performances with layers of harmony and experimental instrumentation.
Brighton-based, it is in a galvanic local live scene that Flip Top Head have flourished; seeing them share stages with fellow high-risers Deadletter, Opus Kink, Tapir, Honeyglaze and Ugly. Since their debut single in February 2023, they have also landed appearances at The Great Escape, Brighten The Corners, Mutations, Left of the Dial and sŵn festivals. Previous releases have also been championed by the likes of BBC Introducing Sussex and BBC 6 Music.
