Belgrave Music Hall Presents..... "Exodus de Prophets" ...

A NEW Chapeltown Community  Collaboration with Superfriendz at Belgrave Music Hall , launches a NEW Family Friendly Day Event Celebrating 50 years of Hip Hop and the year of Reggae with the release of Robert Nesta Marley iconic film and the rise of Rastafari culture and events in Leeds and beyond.... 

"Exodus de Prophets" is a fusion of Hip Hop meets Reggae as Nattylyn (BA Hons Childhood Studies, PGD & MA in Youth & Community) has brought you this event drawing upon her unique roots and Kulture,  celebrating 3rd Generation Rastafari motherhood with the diverse and thriving Hip Hop and Reggae community in Leeds.

Live Cyphers, arts, stalls, DJs Caira Mai (Future Generation sistren) and Community renoun - Ghost (Peoples FM), Fashion. Mc"s Ital food and drinks offers on the day!

Zero Tolerance to Racism - this is a peaceful event... and venue is supporting Child Friendly Leeds and Ask Angela (stay safe scheme).

All under 18s must be supervised at all times.

Access (no lift) - event on 2nd Floor (pushchairs left at own risk) please collapse due to space. See more at 'Access' below.

    Bring proof of student ID/ DWP Welfare benefit it can be shown on phone but assisting photo ID required e.g. DVLA Provisional licence & no requirement for proof of child age it will be observed on the day over 16s can show National Insurance card or Citizen ID, Foster Carers can show their passes or Leeds Card Extra card for Discount.  (Ticket info) 

    Accessibility

    No lift ....small puschairs advised to collapse event on 2nd Floor, all puschairs left at owners own risk.

    Wheelchair Access on ground floor and assistance maybe required for second floor access

    Please bring reusable cups for water & no glass is permitted on second floor.

    Roof terrace - supervise all under 18s at all times

    Fire emergency exits - green (no fire expected) follow evacuation procedure if required in event of emergency.

    Doors will open between 10.30am-10.45am so please wrap up warm as the main Belgrave doesnt open until 11am (food & drinks available for sale then)

    Pack light healthy snacks if required for ltitle ones & comforters ...aiming to be tech free so bring your favourite travel game, Arts & crafts and utilise the tables and under 4s area for relaxing low level stimulation, bring your own bAby or toddler headphones if sensitive to loud noise...

    During Cyphers (dancing on mat) please ensure NO children go onto the mat unless part of the dance troupe or requested times this is to prevent injury & health and safety for prevention of accident.

    If a first aider is required during the event then speak to a member of the Belgrave Team who would be happy to assist ...

    No responsibility for personal belongings so ensure you keep an eye on your valuables,

    There is photography/filming at the event for publicity and marketing purposes if you do not consent please inform a member of the event team on the day upon entrance.
