Dynamic Floor is an advanced-level floor work class aiming to develop fluidity and movement rhythms. We will work on the coordination and physicality of movements to understand how to organise our bodies in order to enter and exit the floor. We will use our weight and momentum to move in an efficient-effortless way without disrupting the flow of movement. 

This class is taught by Mara Osorio, who is an interdisciplinary artist/mover from Chile based in Leeds. She recently graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a Dance BA (HONS) in Contemporary Dance. At the same time, to complement her studies she took part in a 6-months online teaching mentorship programme with Alleyne Dance Company.
