The Sculpture Gallery

Come and join us on 3rd April for the launch of our latest Guest Artist Month. In addition to viewing Robyn Neild's remarkable exhibition, help us celebrate three years as a gallery.

Robyn’s work captures nature’s tipping point through fluidity of movement and delicacy, where the transformation of decay is more beautiful than the symmetry of bloom. Using the traditional 'lost wax' technique, she forces the molten metal into increasingly fine and fragile forms. The heavy metal becomes an ethereal exploration of decay, hope and the search for sanctuary, drawing inspiration from the Kent marshlands and the stark beauty of Dungeness. Winner of the Sculpture Prize Wales Contemporary (2020), Robyn has exhibited widely and works from her communal studio gallery in Folkestone.

On our anniversary, we will raise a glass of wine or two, and proudly welcome Robyn to our ever-growing sculpture community.
