DAVE DRAY

'The artist Dave Dray is an alias created from Dave Shuttleworth's family name which one day may be short lived'.

He is an independent singer songwriter raised in the East Midlands but based up North in his home away from home in West Yorkshire.

Dave's ballad-like songs and baritone voice perfectly complement his emotional personal lyrics.  'I want to write music for everyday, I think music nowadays seems to focus on unrealistic lifestyles, I want to make music that everyone can relate to writing lyrics that cover sensitive topics that aren't currently spoken about in the industry'.

Dave takes inspo from King Krule, Jeff Buckley, TV Girl and Big Thief.

Although a grunge artist, Jeff Buckley sounded like no other grunge band out there.

Dave Dray has a similar uniqueness about him. As a genre he falls under alt/indie Rock.
