Gig
Music
Event organiser:
Crater Lake

Los Angeles based artist and film maker Neil ‘Cloaca’ Young’s solo project playing “joyful failure music” on voice, body, tapes, synthesis, percussion and drum machines as heard on his latest cassette release From The Bank Of Fragile Time.

Xu Shaoyang focuses on the live performance aspect of music, song-writing, arrangement, and re-arrangements by way of improvisation.

After years in canada, japan, and scandinavia, xu currently resides in london, england.

Playing as Wild Rani, Mahay had a release on OTO’s TakuRoku label, Ruminations Until All Done, which The Wire noted “explores the music within digital noise, modulating hum, sirens and overlaid classic synth slides and whorls, threaded together with Mahay’s distorted, distant spoken word reflections on self, delivered as poetic, rhythmical snatches of vivid lockdown reality”.
