After five years of community-led activities, Climate Action Leeds invites the city to come together to celebrate our collective achievements. Thousands of people have been, and continue to take action to help create the sustainable city we deserve - one that is zero carbon, nature positive and socially just. This showcase event will offer a chance to recognise our successes, acknowledge key challenges, and share plans for our next steps.

 At 7.30pm we will have a panel discussion featuring key voices representing community groups, Leeds City Council, Leeds Climate Commission and Climate Action Leeds.

From community food growing to Imagine Leeds; doughnut economics to Community Streets; a wealth of activity and collaboration has happened across the city during the 5 years of the Climate Action Leeds project. Funded by the National Lottery, the project has focused on empowering communities to take local action to improve their neighbourhoods, as well as to participate politically to create a more sustainable future for Leeds.

We will be providing hot and cold drinks, including alcohol, as well as a light meal. We do not expect alcohol to be a significant feature of the evening.

Holy Trinity is on Boar Lane, and is fully wheelchair accessible. It is close to the train station and all bus routes. Tickets for this event are limited to 120, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
