Formed over 140 years ago, Brighouse & Rastrick Band is regarded by many as the best and most consistent ‘public subscription band’ in the world. The band is known for its famous 1977 hit parade success, The Floral Dance. Recently qualifying to compete in the National Championship of Great Britain, Brighouse & Rastrick Band has also been busy recording music by composer Dorothy Gates. Under the baton of Resident Musical Director Ian McElligott, the band recently welcomed Sarah Lenton on solo baritone.
