Join us at Be Curious Live, the University of Leeds annual family open day. Each year we turn the campus into a hive of free family-friendly activities, where you can get hands on with the research that happens right here in Leeds.

Access
We want Be Curious to be a fully accessible event, enjoyed by all. All our buildings have step-free access and accessible toilets. There are also baby changing facilities available in Parkinson Court.
Quiet spaces will be shown on the map and will be open throughout the day for you to use. We will also be providing a quiet hour designed for families who prefer a calmer environment. The quiet hour will be from 10am – 11am. Guests of the quiet hour are still welcome to stay after the quiet hour but should expect it to be busy. Entrance to the quiet hour is still free but tickets are required which you can book here: https://buytickets.at/universityofleeds26/1183245
We are learning as we go at Be Curious, but we do recognise the social model of disability and understand that removing barriers creates equity, independence, and control. This is why we value your contributions to making Be Curious an accessible event for everyone. If you have any questions or ways we can ensure you have an enjoyable experience throughout the day please get in touch at: becurious@leeds.ac.uk
