Lauri is one of 27 artists taking part in Artists Around Wetherby Open Studios this year, on the weekends of 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th June. She will be demonstrating her work while the Studios are open. She is one of three artists in Collingham alongside Jill Neale and Sandra Dean.

This year we offer refreshments for a donation towards our chosen charity Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Lauri is a paper collage and mixed media artist working mindfully to create one-off paper collages, giclee prints, greeting cards and poetry postcards.

Her inspirations are words, poems, and nature, particularly her garden.
Her artwork is colourful and textured, loose abstract art. Using watercolour paint, lino-print, marbling, and ink she begins by creating papers to work with.

Mindfulness is part of her creative practice and is reflected in her subject and colour choices.

She offers workshops and demonstrations locally and can be found at Made in Yorkshire events in York. Her work is on the walls of local Apotheco coffee shop in Collingham.
