Combining a passion for textile techniques with a love of experimenting with wire, Dawn (Alba) creates unique jewellery. She specialises in wire crochet and uses precious metals and semi precious gemstones, to design and make unusual and intricate pieces.
Dawn is one of 27 artists who will be taking part in this year’s Artists Around Wetherby Open Studios, with a range of creative talent on show including art using a wide variety of media, photography, digital art, collage, silk painting, jewellery, sculpture and ceramics. It’s an opportunity to see behind the scenes, watch a number of artists demonstrating, stop for a chat and discover the stories behind the art.
Come and be inspired, support local artists and spend a few hours enjoying art and creativity whilst exploring Wetherby and surrounding villages.
Refreshments will be available at each venue for a donation to Yorkshire Cancer Research.
