This Autumn Jazzleeds presents forty concerts, with something to suit all tastes. The season starts at the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival in August and runs through to the new year. On Thursdays we have the best acts from the international and UK jazz scene in the acoustically-excellent concert room at Seven Arts. On Sundays there are fun bands from the local and regional area – a perfect way to spend your Sunday afternoons. On Wednesdays we present the relaxed early evening gigs in the bar at Seven Arts - Rush Hour Jazz has guest musicians and singers supported by the house trio. We also have lots of opportunities for people to join in, with jazz workshops, choirs, the Instant World Orchestra and our monthly jazz jam sessions held at Northlight Arts.

Highlights of the autumn season include these 12 concerts -
Tunes to be Swingin’ – The Olivia Cuttill Quintet evening 28 August, 7.30pm Seven Arts. Olivia Cuttill is a rising star trumpet player and composer on the UK jazz scene. She brings her dazzling band back to Leeds as part of the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival

Ozzy Moysey’s Ancient Infinity Orchestra Saturday evening 30 August, 7.30pm Seven Arts. Ancient Infinity Orchestra is a 10-member jazz ensemble led by double-bassist and composer Ozzy Moysey as part of the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival. Their music drinks deep from the well of spiritual jazz

Chapel Allerton Arts Festival Jazz Sunday afternoon 31 August, 12.30—6pm. The big jazz and blues explosion to mark the end of the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival at the Regent Street Main Stage in Chapel Allerton featuring The Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra Homecoming Brass Band, Blues Spectrum, Pan Jumby, Ferg’s Imaginary Big Band, as well as a second stage at Chapel Allerton Square 1-3pm

Ant Law’s ‘Unified Theories’ Sunday afternoon 21 September, 1.30pm Seven Arts. A special Sunday afternoon concert featuring innovative jazz guitarist Ant Law with long-time allies Michael Chillingworth Conor Chaplin and Ananda Brandão playing music from their brand-new album Unified Theories.

Jean Toussaint Quintet Thursday evening 9 October, 7.30pm Seven Arts.  First coming to prominence with Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers in the 80s, Jean Toussaint has graced the bands led by such as Wynton Marsalis and Gil Evans, as well as leading his own quintet for this evening concert in Leeds.

Sextet ¡Ritmo Caliente! Sunday afternoon 12 October, 1.30pm Seven Arts. A 100th birthday tribute to Latin Jazz pioneer, vibist Cal Tjader. 

Nigel Price Organ Trio Thursday evening 30 October, 7.30pm Seven Arts. Ubuntu Music artist guitarist Nigel Price appears with a trio featuring the stellar line-up of Ross Stanley on Hammond organ and Joel Barford on drums.

Gabriel Latchin Trio play Gershwin - Sunday afternoon 9 November, 1.30pm Seven Arts. Gabriel Latchin has made a name for himself as one of the UK’s finest jazz pianists.

Greg Abate with the Gaz Hughes Trio – Thursday evening 13 November, 7.30pm Seven Arts. US bebop veteran sax player Greg Abate is accompanied by the equally superb Gaz Hughes Trio featuring Gaz on drums.

Misha Mullov-Abbado’s ‘Effra’ Sextet Thursday evening 27 November, 7.30pm Seven Arts. Acclaimed bassist Misha Mullov- Abbado leads his sextet featuring some of the most sought-after musicians on the London jazz scene.

Kate Peters Big Band — Thursday evening 11 December, 7pm Seven Arts. Our Christmas Party features the 18 piece Kate Peters Big Band, with Kate paying tribute to the best of jazz singers including the wonderful Ella Fitzgerald.

Ubunye - Tuesday evening 23 December, 7pm Seven Arts. A special pre Christmas concert from Leeds based award winning band Ubunye with their cleverly fused with South African songs - a fantastic multicultural experience.
