We’re so excited to invite you to The Hangout Youth Pride for Leeds, a joyful, creative, and inclusive celebration taking place on Saturday 23rd August from 1pm - 5pm at All Hallows in Hyde Park.

The Hangout is a vibrant and inclusive LGBTQIA youth project in Leeds dedicated to fostering a supportive community and empowering young individuals in their journey of self-discovery and acceptance.

This free event is all about uplifting LGBTQ+ young people and creating a space where everyone can feel proud, safe, and supported. You’ll be welcomed into a vibrant community with music, crafts, food, and space to just be yourself.

Youth Pride aims to create a safe, empowering, and joyful space where LGBTQ+ young people can be fully themselves without fear of judgment or exclusion. It’s about building community, celebrating identity, and giving young people the chance to connect with others who understand their experiences.

At its heart, Youth Pride challenges the isolation and discrimination many queer youth face, offering instead a space of solidarity, creativity, and care.

It’s not just a party, it’s a platform for visibility, resilience, and pride led by and for young people.

We’re coming together to say: you belong. There’ll be creative workshops, sensory-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect with others who share your experiences. From zine-making to music, from free snacks to quiet corners, this is a space made, with care, for all.
