Bobbi Rae: Taking Up Space

Last year artist Bobbi Rae was awarded a Leeds Inspired grant to develop her project Taking Up Space that looked at the representation of women in the creative industries. In the pipeline were arts workshops, panel discussions and an exhibition due to take place in The Gallery At 164 for Spring 2020. Although lockdown put the brakes on some of that work, Bobbi was able to move the workshops online and has also been busy making the 100 jesmonite sculptures that will eventually find their way into the exhibition (date tbc).
