This workshop will focus on how we can use our spine in good alignment in all the directions it can move, to create more space for ourselves, physically and mentally. The spine is literally the back-bone of our body, with all the nerve endings running up and down. It connects head to heart to pelvis, and supports the shoulders and ribcage. Keeping this all flowing and strong will enhance our lives in so many ways!
The workshop will be combination of a slow steady Hatha practice that will open you up gracefully with deep stretching into the closed areas of the body, followed by the benefits of a quietly relaxing in restorative yoga. This will bring you towards greater balance and ease, nurture better sleep patterns, and help give a sense of becoming more centred.
Gerry will support and guide you in all the poses and offer a calming space where you can expand, as well as allow you to rest in a deep mind-body connection.
Be prepared to find stillness, a quieter mind, and leave feeling calm yet uplifted and energised.
