Come and meet over 100 authors in the heart of vibrant Leeds and enjoy an unforgettable weekend. This is your chance to buy signed books, chat to authors about their craft AND party the night away with them, too. A must-attend occasion for book lovers of all genres!

Our location Leeds Dock benefits from all amenities including a hotel on site, restaurants, bars and the world-renowned Royal Armouries Museum itself which is free to visit. Our various function rooms are dotted around the Armouries campus.

Slam Dunk is a Pop-Punk, Emo, Metal, and Alternative Music Festival showcasing the best in new and classic rock. 

Starting off in Leeds as a record label hosting a series of gigs, Slam Dunk has now become an annual institution to punk and metal fans.

Headliners announced for this year include Funeral for a Friend, I Prevail,
The Wonder Years, The Interrupters and the final UK festival performance by You Me at Six.

Live at Leeds is a one day, five stage, green field festival held at Temple Newsam. It is accessible for all ages, and free for under 5’s. 

This year’s headliners include The Kooks, Declan Mckenna, The Cribs, Future Islands, Circa Waves and Mel C.

Mint Festival is back on 4th & 5th May Bank Holiday weekend.

Ten intimate stages across two days of uninterrupted house, techno, drum and bass and everything in between!

The North's most tasteful gathering plays out at the lush Newsam Green Farm on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May with brand new hosts: ATW, History of Rave, You&Me and much more!

Get ready for an exciting lineup of Leeds' finest DJs to get your waists warm for Carnival Weekend. Enjoy authentic Caribbean cuisine from our vendors and sip on drinks from two house bars. Explore market stalls offering carnival outfits and accessories.

The day will be divided into two sessions.

Heart Fest 2024 is here!

Join us next month for our annual celebration of what makes Heart special. Featuring live music, talks, taster sessions, workshops, kids activities and more!

We like to keep our events accessible to everyone. so we ask for just a suggested donation of £1 for the day.

If you fancy sticking with us in the evening, we have Heart on Board for a chilled night in the cafe and a very special Cèilidh to get you dancing in the evening. Cèilidh will be ticketed.

Sunny Bank Mills’ annual Textile Festival, Threads is back for its second instalment! 

Threads will take place across the site of Sunny Bank Mills over the weekend of 7th-9th June 2024. 

Alongside the market in the 1912 Mill with 40+ textile stalls each day, there is an extensive programme of workshops and talks.

After a successful inaugural festival last year, Threads Textile Market is back this year for a full three days. Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June 2024.

Open 10am – 4pm on Friday 7th to Sunday 9th June.

Join us for a day of performance, music, dance, words and film marking Windrush and other journeys. Rise Up is a one day festival that showcases the rich Caribbean Heritage of Leeds and beyond. The day is made up of four events created to appeal to all ages and a special Mahogany Market offering crafts, food and more.
