Danbert Nobacon and Jennifer Reid

An evening of music with eclectic agit prop freak entertainer Danbert Nobacon (Chumbawamba) who makes a return to UpCo on Saturday 13th July in a superb double bill with feisty broadside balladeer featured on 'The Gallows Pole' Jennifer Reid.

Beyond the Bassline: Black British Music in Leeds

A tribute to the Windrush Generation and their connection to Black British music. This event in Leeds honours pioneers of music activism and is headlined by Paulette Morris from Royal Blood, known for their hits in the UK reggae charts during the 1980s. 

Curated and co-presented by Khadijah Ibrahiim, other artists and speakers appearing include Norman Francis aka Too Tall, Annette Morris, Chris Campbell, Richard Smith aka Fluid Irie, Patrick Gatewood, Faadil Broderick aka Speedo MC, Kevin Decosta aka KD Ranks and Phenicia Williams.

Midnight Snack

Midnight Snack is a new music and food experience at OWT this bank holiday Sunday.

Featuring gourmet buffet food, eclectic local DJs and a wide selection of low and no alcohol drinks (+ the alcoholic classics) we're creating a welcome space for everyone to enjoy.

Food will be cheffed up by the amazing team at OWT using ingredients provided by Surplus to Purpose, a CIC that reduces food waste. Proceeds from ticket sales will be going to Love Leeds Parks who work to create more green spaces in the city.
