We are launching our very first Movie Club, a chance for you to come and see films at the cinema with your mates or your brothers and sisters, or even on your own. We know that you can't do this in a regular cinema but Leeds Young Film Festival is no ordinary cinema.

We want you to be part of our team, helping us find the best films and spread the word about them. So, as part of your Movie Club session, you'll can talk to us about the film you've watched and tell us what you thought.

The LYFF Movie Club also includes a workshop in our Animation Station, with professional animators Dawn and Zoe. Get hands-on with Lego or plasticine and create characters to star in a group animation which you can share with your friends and family later. You can even have a go at designing your very own flip book which you can take home with you at the end of the day.

Movie Club sessions include two films plus animation workshop, running from Monday 3 April to Thursday 6 April at Carriageworks Theatre.

You can view the full LYFF programme by visiting the website here.
