Leeds People's Choir is a friendly, community, secular, non-auditioned choir. We meet Wednesday evenings at Swarthmore Education Centre, in central Leeds, at 7pm-9pm.

We sing to support causes and campaigns we believe in and to promote equality, justice, peace, and community. Our songs come from different countries and cultures, and we sing unaccompanied (acapella).

Our musical director, Jenny Goodman, is an experienced choir leader who runs very enjoyable and uplifting sessions.

We have no auditions and learn most of our songs by ear, so you don't need to read music or be an experienced or a confident singer.

We always have a tea and biscuits break for a chat. Sometimes we meet up outside choir for other social activities.

Autumn 2023 term starts from Wednesday 13th September with three special WaterAid workshops which you are welcome to come to.

Our usual rehearsals start on Wednesday 4th October. But you can join the choir any time.

Why not come and see if we are the choir for you? Try us for a couple of weeks before you decide if you would like to join. Everyone is welcome.
