There's lots going on across Leeds Libraries and Community Hubs to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee, with events taking place in the run up and over the Jubilee weekend.

We're creating an archive of your memories and photos of the Queen here in Leeds. You can share anything - from anecdotes about past Royal visits, street parties, or preparations for this year's Platinum Jubilee. Head over to Leodis to view the gallery and get involved!

It wouldn't be a Jubilee without bunting! Come along to your local library to customise a flag with words, images, sequins, and buttons to incorporate into an extra special community bunting to display at the library. The Bunting Workshops take place across Leeds between 23rd and 28th May, find out more here.

The Big Jubilee Read Booklist has been produced by the Reading Agency celebrating 70 books written by authors from across the Commonwealth, ten books for each decade of the Queen’s reign. A full list of the books can be found here, you can search for the books on our catalogue and reserve for free online here.

Help us to complete the Big Jubilee Jigsaw, featuring some of the book covers from the booklist. Visit one of our Platinum Jubilee Tea Parties or Library Socials to have a go, take a selfie and tag us in on social media@LeedsLibraries #LeedsJubilee

Take your pick from three Jubilee Film Clubs in Leeds Libraries. Discuss a book featured on the Big Jubilee Booklist and then sit back and relax as you watch the film adaptation.  Grab a FREE ticket for the Big Jubilee Read Film Club.

Hear from a very special panel of guests, hosted by Harrogate Library at Twixt t'Covers. If you can't make it to Harrogate, watch from home, live streamed via YouTube.! Five guests will be sharing and discussing their favourite book from The Big Jubilee Read Booklist, with Yvette Huddleston from the Yorkshire Post. Register to attend here and subscribe to North Yorkshire Libraries on YouTube here

Your little ones can get involved too. In the run up to the Jubilee we will be hosting special Story and Rhyme sessions where you'll listen to royal tales and be able to craft your very own knicker bunting (inspired by the picture book The Queens Knickers), colour in a corgi or design a crown fit for a Queen. Find your local session here
