In the not so distant future you'll be watching one of those 'That Was The Year That Was' programmes about 2015. As well as getting all nostalgic about Gogglebox, age guessing technology and the Minions movie we'll look back on 2015 as being a glorious year for top nosh. It began a few years ago with the street food revolution ramping up our expectations of food on the move. Soon after, we all popped our pop-up dining cherries and ate our tea in empty shops. Then there was a swift falling head over heels with the glorious dirty burger; all the while maxing out on back-to-back Bake Offs.

Hayward Touring have announced the list of 41 artists that curators Anna Colin and Lydia Yee have selected for British Art Show 8 (BAS8), opening at Leeds Art Gallery in autumn 2015. Many of the artists exhibiting in BAS8 have a strong international presence, reflecting the increasingly globalised networks operating in the art world.
