Leeds Inspired have commissioned ‘Momentous’, a large scale projection that will transform the entire façade of Civic Hall into an animated mechanical clock! This magical installation takes place from 3rd – 5th October 2013, forming a centrepiece of the city’s Light Night celebrations on 4th October.

"Street Seen is a platform for highlighting great street entertainment in Leeds. If you're a busker or entertainer Street Seen will provide new performance and promotional opportunities and today we're asking people to join in and suggest ways we can improve the street scene in Leeds.

We're looking forward to the opening of the 2013 Northern Art Prize at Leeds Art Gallery next week. The artists on this year's shortlist are Joanne Tatham and Tom O’Sullivan, Rosalind Nashashibi, Emily Speed and Margaret Harrison. The shortlisted artists have been working closely with curator Sarah Brown to bring together new and recent work for this year's exhibition which runs from 28th March - 16th June. The winner of the prize will be announced on 23rd May.
