We popped in a couple of weeks ago and were mesmerised by Dobrowolski's miniature worlds that explore travel and distance. Last week we popped into Scrap Leeds, a treasure trove of recycled resources for art and creative play based in Farsley's historic Sunny Bank Mills. This is a shop where you can't help spending hours rooting through boxes of old buttons, rummaging through reams of fabric remnants and contemplating the best use for a job lot of discarded circuit boards.

Seeing how never win anything, ever, we were very giddy to find out we'd been randomly selected from a twitter prize draw to receive a signed copy of Jung Chang's book ‘Empress Dowager Cixi’. The prize came from Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds through their series of Meet The Author events.
