Slung Low // Fri 15 Aug 2014 02:34 pm
From September 4th Slung Low’s adaptation of Herman Melville’s epic novel Moby Dick – renamed The White Whale - will be performed at Leeds Dock for nine nights. In typical Slung Low style, the play is an immersive event that encompasses a stage set built into the water of the Leeds and Liverpool canal. As the sun sets the boat’s deck arises from the water as the audience watch and listen in on headphones.
The Tetley // Sun 10 Aug 2014 08:52 pm
Showcasing Nous Vous’ latest residency at The Tetley.
For two weeks in July our first floor, including former offices and our Atrium space, was transformed into inspiring creative, live workspaces open to the public to see. Work from the residency is now on display until 31 August.
It’s great to celebrate the talents of Leeds alumni and to have the opportunity to showcase their new work.

Jonathan Turner // Wed 02 Jul 2014 01:48 pm
‘Street Studio’ is a new piece of work by photographer Jonathan Turner, supported by Leeds Inspired, East Street Arts, and Leeds Community Foundation. The work aims to celebrate the area of Chapeltown, in Leeds, through portraits of its people. Jonathan has shared a selection of his recent Street Studio images with us. The project takes its inspiration from the itinerant photographer, or ‘Smudger’ from the late 19th century in the days before mass camera ownership.
