Infact you won't find a perfect circle anywhere in the universe because they only exist as a mathematical theory. Mind blowing stuff that's made me wonder if it's time we renamed them; maybe 'roundling' could be the new circle?

Tell Me What Yo’ Singin’ For will be performed on Friday 3 July at Howard Assembly Rooms and is inspired by the life of Edric Connor, a true pioneer of Caribbean music and culture in this country in the 1950s and 1960s. I knew the Connor family well: Edric, Pearl - his wife and partner in so many of his artistic endeavours – and his daughter Geraldine especially, who was a friend, teacher and all-round inspiration to me and many other performers both young and old till her untimely death in 2011.

Assembly House // Mon 08 Jun 2015 11:27 am

We're Assembly House an artist led studio and gallery space situated in a historic textiles mill in Armley, near the Leeds-Liverpool canal. The studio plays host to a group of roughly 30 creatives with a diverse set of practices ranging from fine art painting and sculpture to illustration, photography and carpentry. In addition to this we run a public programme which includes one or two exhibitions a month, and various educational workshops.
