An evening with Peter Mitchell

One of the most renowned photographers of the 20th century, Peter Mitchell is perhaps most well-known for his documentary photography of Leeds across the 1970s and 80s while working as a delivery truck driver.

In celebration of Mitchell’s exhibition at Leeds Art Gallery, Nothing Lasts Forever, this special evening talk will see the artist himself reflecting on his long-rooted connection with the city of Leeds. Mitchell will share stories from his remarkable photography career and how his most iconic works came to be. This event will be interpreted in BSL.

In February 2024 Leona published her first stand-alone thriller, The Escape Room, under the name L.D. Smithson. Her second standalone, The Shame Game, is due in 2025. All Leona’s novels draw on her experience as a psychologist.
