Yoga Kula Online: Stoking The Fire

Online Event
log burning fire
Dates and times

16 Jan 2021 7pm - 8:15pm

Online Event

Join Kirsty Williams for this heart-warming meditation and dynamic vinyasa flow to ignite your inner fire.

Beginning with a Trataka meditation (candle gazing) to welcome the warm light of the flame into your mind's eye, we'll clear, purify, and steady the mind.

Then we'll blaze out of our winter slumber and welcome the energy of fire into the body with Kapalbhati (breath of fire), an invigorating pranayama practice which seeks to stimulate the flow of prana (life force) around the body.

Continuing to build the energy of fire within, we'll move into a dynamic vinyasa practice designed to stimulate the physical body with a series of twists, boosting the digestive system to unlock energy from deep within, whilst also burning up all that no longer serves.

Igniting the flames of your heart as we finish with a grounding meditation to reflect on how you can carry this energy forwards and burn brightly into 2021.

Come and stoke your inner fire!
