Leeds Industrial Museum

Canal Road, Armley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS12 2QF

Drop in to Leeds Industrial and create a yellow poppy to commemorate the lives of munitions workers in the First World War.

Thirty-five 'Barnbow Canaries' lost their lives in an explosion in 1916 and many others were wounded, working in factories all across the city.

All poppies made will be added to our 'Armley Mills Remembers' display this November.

No need to book, just drop in, all materials provided.

A large proportion of Armley Mills is fully accessible.
