A poetry and film showcase from Open Source Arts.Over two…
Our World Animation Competition brings together animations of every kind, from festival award winners, to freshly minted graduation short films. Sometimes delicate, sometimes dark, sometimes even disturbing, they are always delightful. This programme includes Marie Jacotey and Lola Halifa-Legrandthe’s artistically excellent Blue Fear, picked from this year’s Cannes Official Selection, as well as Finnish director Niki Lindroth von Bahr’s Something to Remember, in which felted animals sing about ennui, pain and the end of the world. Korean animator Leeha Kim wins the ‘cutest fox’ award for Mascot, though.
Showing online on Leeds Film Player from 3 November. Visit leedsfilm.com for more information.
