In this workshop, Claire Martin will use the Leeds Central Library Collections to explore the everyday lives of working-class men and women in Leeds in the first half of the 20th century. You will have the chance to handle and analyse key items from the Leeds Central Library catalogue that show these people’s lives through their own eyes, and to discuss the importance of these documents and of the history of everyday life.
