Show Map

Leeds Industrial Museum

Canal Road, Armley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS12 2QF

An event primarily aimed at women of all ages interested in engineering in all it's forms, to celebrate International Women in Engineering day 2018.

We will be hosting Leeds University Facility of Engineering who will be carrying out 'climate soluntions chats' throughout the day. Come along and tell us what you think about the future of the planet.*

Other activities include free curator tours of the Queens of Industry exhibition and the chance to go behind the scenes and see our railway locomotive collection.

Tours will be at regular intervals throughout the day, so we would recomend a visit of around two to three hours to see everything - there will be plently to see and do if you wish to saty all day.

Tea and cake will be provided to all those who book a free place on this event.

* suported by the Royal Academy of Engineering INGENIOUS scheme
