Featuring Alesandra Seutin's signature Afro-European style, Boy Breaking Glass is a powerful, thought-provoking piece of dance theatre about inequality, the act of survival and self-love.
The work is inspired by a poem of the same name written by Gwendolyn Brooks - the first Black female poet in the United States to receive the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.
"Boy Breaking Glass is an ode to all the brown artists who may be in the shadows or forgotten and who have paved the way for so many including me." - Alesandra Seutin
