TNL: An evening of North Indian Music
17 Sep 2019 8pm - 10:30pm
Tuesday Night Live presents An evening inspired by North Indian music, featuring:
Guitar: Luke Darlison
Vocals: Satnam Galsian
A melodic interplay between guitar and voice where Satnam and Luke intricately explore the artistry of Indian song. Expect a fresh perspective towards popular Indian music and the works of renowned singers.
Naghma are a trio to be found at the lesser-travelled crossroads between Indian and western music traditions with a detour into jazz standards. They are fond of deconstructing songs and reassembling them into something new or simply finding the space where both the song and Naghma are able to perfectly co-exist. Songs that have been passed on to them and songs they have found are shared and caressed, like old maps to new unexplored places. The journey always starting with the song.
Drums: Simon Henry
Guitar: John Hogg
Vocals: Satnam Galsian
