Talking Histories: Kirkstall Valley – Wellington Bridge to Armley Viaduct
31 Jul 2019 7pm - 8pm
Join us for a walking tour along a stretch of the valley of the River Aire that was once full of foundries, dyeworks, mills, tanneries and back-to-back housing. Here, the 19th-century expansion of Leeds was carried beyond its historic core.
Expert guide Rachael Unsworth from Leeds City Walking Tours will invite you to envisage the area’s colourful past and find out about transformations since Leeds’ industrial heyday.
The walk will begin and end at Left Bank Leeds.
All money raised through this event supports Left Bank Leeds Charitable Trust, charity no. 1146734.
