Talk by Adam Jaffer, Curator of World Cultures, Leeds Museums and Galleries.

Using examples from Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, this talk will demonstrate Leeds’ connections to the world through trade, mission work, travel and curiosity. It will highlight some of the stories we can tell about different societies and illustrate the development of Leeds’ World Cultures collection, one of the most significant civic anthropology collections in England.
