Abbey House Museum

Abbey Walk, Kirkstall, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS5 3EH

With Emma Bowron and Kitty Ross (Leeds Museums and Galleries).

Join conservator Emma Bowron and Curator of Leeds/Social History Kitty Ross for the final talk in 2019's 'Danger Zone' season, to explore some of the hazards - seen and unseen - lurking in museum collections, and look at the world of hazardous objects through the eyes of an object conservator. Learn how museum professionals  ensure a safe enviornment around the collections, parts of which date from eras with very different understandings about health and safety.

A talk to tie in with Abbey House Museum's Danger Zone exhibition.
