The Story of a Lost Toy - Dog Friendly Event

The Story of a Lost Toy - Dog Friendly Event
Dates and times

6 Oct 2018 4pm - 5pm

Show Map

The Union Coffee House

51 Great George Street, , Leeds, LS1 3BB

Dogs and their keepers are invited by artist Mindy Goose, to this special dog friendly viewing of the exhibition, Tennis Ball. Come along and share your stories of favourite toys, with opportunities to be photographed by the artist. Non dog owners are also welcome.

Mindy regards walking as art. She is concerned with how our environments connect to us, and what that means for a person with a disability. Walking with her dog, she began noticing the remnants of tennis balls left abandoned by dogs. The exhibition images reveal a dog’s toy, once loved and cherished, destroyed by play. They continue the story long after they have been replaced by a brand-new tennis ball.

Please check times with event organiser for any last minute changes.

The venue does not have level access. There is a small step into the buiding, and two steps into the toilet. We are looking at hiring a ramp for the event, and will update the Love Arts website with further details when we get them.
