Spanish Gastronomic Experience: Pinchos Night
25 Apr 2019
Two Spanish landmarks in Leeds are the Ibérica restaurant and the Instituto Cervantes and they are joining forces to offer an authentic Spanish gastronomic experience mixed with an interesting Spanish language class. As well as learning vocabulary, geography and other interesting facts about Spanish culture, the participants will get down to work preparing tapas guided by one of Ibérica chefs. By the end of the session the participants will have had the chance to experience a variety of flavours and taste some different Spanish wines.
We have called this first session 'Pinchos night' and on it attendants will prepare:
- Pear & spinach salad Pincho with La Peral blue cheese, pine buts & raisins.
- Twice cooked lamb Pincho with marinated cherry tomatoes & red peppers from León.
- Salmon Pincho with cream of avocado & tomato vinaigrette.
Iberica will provide a selection of traditional tapas to enjoy (bravas, croquetas and padrones).
Attendees will be welcome to stay and enjoy the tapas and drinks.
