Find your voice and strengthen your vocal muscles in our NEW Singing with Parkinson's Course on Wednesday mornings, led by thhe talented Georgia Jakubiak starting on Wednesday 20th January 11am.
The sessions will include:
Fun warm up – tongue twisters, snippets of songs, a selection of enjoyable warm up’s and work outs for the voice.
Breathing exercises – learning how to use the diaphragm correctly and expand your lung capacity as well as being meditative.
Rehab – using semi occluded vocal track exercises to create the perfect vocal chord formation making the voice stronger and more flexible.
Songs – Sing along at home to your favourite tunes.
Singing is proven to lower cortisol, the stress hormone as well as releasing endorphins and making you feel good, which we all need during these turbulent times.
