A rare opportunity to see Federico Fellini’s Oscar winning masterpiece on the big screen in Leeds!

'Nights of Cabiria' follows the episodic trials and tribulations of the obstinately hopeful Cabiria's search for love and a better life. The film takes you through both the dazzling glamour of Rome and the stark neorealist reality of post-war Italy, all the time grounded by the warmth and optimism of Cabiria, played with extraordinary pathos by Fellini's wife and muse Giulietta Masina.

Winning the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 1957 and serving as the inspiration behind the musical 'Sweet Charity', 'Nights of Cabiria' is a classic that has marked its place on cinema history.

A film for the ages but one that feels especially prescient and inspiring after the year we've all been through.

This event is being held at  HEART Headingley, Leeds, UK. Tickets are available now. Doors open at 6:30PM with the film scheduled to start at 7PM. Appropriate social distancing measures will be encouraged. There will also be a bar and refreshments available from HEART's Assembly Bar & Kitchen.

This film screening is part of  Scalarama Leeds, a film festival held throughout the month of September in cities all across the UK.
