Restricted Borders: Debut Exhibition by On Edge, a Yorkshire-based artist collective.
Opening 5pm to 7pm on 17th May.
Exhibition runs from 17th May to 28th June.
The group met at Swarthmore and share a common interest in life drawing. This exhibition explores our response to the imposition of boundaries, whether literal or figurative, mental or geophysical. The edge (or border) of the paper can be a metaphor for the physical limits of the body as well as the political boundaries which restrict movement across borders. We wanted to look at how, as artists, we can depict those restrictions. The opening will be the first chance to view the exhibition in the cafe area, meet and talk to the artists while enjoying a glass of wine or a cup of tea and slice of cake.
During this period of social distancing and lockdown due to Coronavirus we advise that you check directly with the organiser of this event that it is going ahead as publicised.

Easy access for people with disabilities is a priority at HEART, and the centre features extra-wide doors, ramps, easy open main door, and a lift to all floors. Assistance dogs are always welcome, and we will always do what we can to ensure the centre is accessible to all. HEART is also proud to be one of the only centres in the north of Leeds with a ‘Changing Places Disabled Toilet’ in line with the Changing Places campaign. HEART is tremendously proud to have won the Community Benefit award at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Pro Yorkshire Regional Awards for 2014. We are a Child Friendly Leeds Ambassador, Disability Confident Employer and Mindful Employer.
