Punk Ass Poultry, by Angus Macdonald x LASSN
1 Nov 2020 - 30 Nov 2020
Punk Ass Poultry has taken flight in Leeds, with a bold outdoor photography exhibition across the city throughout November.
It's a unique street art project between award-winning photographer Angus Macdonald and LASSN (Leeds Asylum Seekers' Support Network), to raise money for refugees. It features an anti-establishment gathering of the world’s fanciest fowl, from the Ayam Cemani of Idonesia, to the regal Russian Orloff, and aims to bring colour and fun to a city in lockdown.
The photographs can be found on two giant billboards at Hyde Park corner, Swinegate in the city centre, Wellington Street, The Royal Park pub in Hyde Park, and on over 100 drum sites across Leeds city centre.
Photo poster prints from the Punk Ass Poultry project are available to buy via https://www.angusmcdonald.net/pap-raising-for-refugees. Prices start at £25, with all profits going to LASSN. You can also donate direct to LASSN via https://lassn.org.uk/ .
