One Hundred: Was, Is, Will // Invisible Cinema Walking Tour
14 Apr 2013 11:00am - 12:30pm
In 2014 the Hyde Park Picture House will celebrate it's 100th year as a cinema. One Hundred: Was, Is, Will invites you to celebrate this anniversary by exploring the past, present and future of the Hyde Park Picture House through a series of curated events and workshops happening throughout 2013. Events will culminate in a live radio show which will be broadcast from the cinema auditorium by East Leeds FM on 28th April 2013.
INVISIBLE CINEMA Walking Tour:
Join historian and tour guide Ben Waddington on a walk uncovering the city's lost cinemas, now absorbed back into the fabric of the city. If you know what to look for, their presence can still be seen flickering in the shadows.
The tour will include a limited edition map and half time snack.
