North Leeds Charity Beer Festival 2019
5 Apr 2019 - 6 Apr 2019
The 8th annual North Leeds Charity Beer Festival organised by the Rotary Club of Roundhay will have a Yorkshire theme with 36 beers from 8 Yorkshire Breweries and 8 gins, all produced in “Gods County”. In addition, Prosecco is available at the “Express in the Home” Gin bar.
Alternative beverages are available at the cricket club Bar. Food will be served at all sessions including homemade samosas and local pork-pies.
Local Leeds bands will be providing musical entertainment during the festival.
Saturday afternoon is family orientated with a friendly atmosphere in the marque including children’s packs to keep the youngsters occupied.
Money raised from the previous beer festivals have enabled the Rotary Club of Roundhay to support their charity work in the local community and further afield. The club has recently installed two defibrillators located outside Oakwood Surgery and Moortown Health Centre. We also sponsored the new children’s playground at the Lakeside café.
The club are also actively involved with local schools and youth groups sponsoring children in their personal development through Ocean Sailing and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. In addition, music, writing and technology events are sponsored.
Support has also been given to those effected by Earthquakes and tsunamis by sending Shelter Boxes and clean water kits.
Please check times with event organiser for any last minute changes.
Entry to the beer festival remains the same price as last year at £10 for a festival pack which includes: a glass, programme and three tokens.
Advance discount tickets can be purchased from the website; full price tickets are also available on the door. Both cash and card payments accepted.
