Our Friday Workshops delve into the imagination of your little ones, and are great for burning some energy, developing listening and movement skills and growing confidence and creativity through musical exploration.

We use an original, high quality and adventurous mixture of music, storytelling and movement that helps develop the creativity of the whole child, and harnesses young children’s innate abilities to experience and enjoy a diverse range music from around the world. Each week explores a different theme and uses a variety of engaging activities, which naturally develop motor skills, coordination, listening, literacy and improvisation abilities with an emphasis on running with the imagination and real life experiences of the child - the interactive Zoom format means we can invite children to shape the sessions and have a go at directing and experimenting with live professional musicians in a truly accessible and fun way!

“We have so much fun in these sessions, wonderful live music, lots of fun and silly movements that my 3 and 5 year old love getting involved in, brilliant story telling too!” — Parent

What people say about us:
‘‘Really enjoy our Friday morning sessions with Make the Paint Dance. During the COVID outbreak and working from home with no nursery care these sessions have ensured I have quality active time with my son at home. I love the songs and often song them outside of the session.’’

‘‘We loved the movement and the chance to run around a bit in the lounge, jump up and down and be silly. It is tiring with children this age to give them that energy all the time, so having a session led by someone else like this and available to do at home during lockdown is amazing. My two daughters really look forward to it every week now and get their instruments out ready to play along, they've even started to sing some of the songs in between the sessions as they like them so much!’’

‘‘Lovely, engaging class with live music. Perfect for entertaining my toddler and having live musicians is a unique treat’’
