LGBT History Month: Sundown
9 Feb 2019 11am - 3pm
Come down to the LGBT History Month celebration event at Leeds City Museum to enjoy an exclusive preview of the upcoming computer game Sundown. You can meet the creative team in the Denny Room between 11am and 3pm, view some of the real-life historical materials that inspired the project, and listen to a short talk at 1.30pm.
Sundown is an immersive, audio-visual narrative game that puts you in the shoes of a train’s conductor, exploring the life and tangled history of the cabin’s only occupant, Private William Harris. Set in the early years of WW2, Sundown aims to explore themes of love and loss, especially when set in the face of great adversity. Made by a team passionate about sharing untold stories, Sundown looks to explore the complexities of queer relationships during wartime, and how our bonds to one another can stand the tests of time.
Please check times with event organiser for any last minute changes.
