The headline production of this year's Leeds Opera Festival is Charles Villiers Stanford’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’.

Shakespeare’s sparkling comedy will be brought to life by Northern Opera Group

'In a tale of two sets of lovers, Hero and Claudio must overcome the devious and jealous Don John, whilst for Beatrice and Benedick, it's not exactly a case of 'love at first sight' ...

Join us for a rare full performance of Stanford’s comic gem, transported to 1950s small town America, where the makings of a cultural revolution are just getting started …

This production will be performed in the wonderful Morley Town Hall, and cast members include Charlotte Hoather, Catrin Woodruff and Phil Wilcox. The production will be directed by Northern Opera Group’s Artistic Director, David Ward, and conducted by Christopher Pelly.
